Marilyn Leslie

Marilyn Leslie, owner, has worked in the self-storage industry for more than eighteen years. Her experience ranges from support services and products to hands-on management of self-storage facilities. She was an original member of Asian self-storage planning and implementation team which pioneered American style self-storage in Hong Kong. Her responsibilities expanded from financial to complete operational management of Hong Kong venture in 2005. She successfully led acquisition and development efforts at six facilities.

Marilyn has served on several panels for Inside Self Storage and the Asian Self Storage Association. She served the industry by helping establish and promote the Self Storage Association of Asia. In 2015 she left her positions as a Board Member and the Treasurer to concentrate on self-storage efforts in the United States.

She has more than forty years of management and financial experience in both the private and public sectors. Ms. Leslie was a senior manager for the “Big 4” accounting firm KPMG before entering the private sector. Previously, she was controller for a larger multi-state publishing company and the Chief Financial Officer of a Foundation serving the needs of widows of United States Armed Forces personnel.

Brent Owen Leslie

Brent Owen Leslie, owner, has over fourteen years working in the self-storage industry as a consultant. He has served in all areas of financial, facility and strategic planning. Duties have ranged from staff recruitment to facility design and market studies. Financial planning services have ranged from expense and revenue analysis to budget and forecast preparation.

Brent has more than forty-five years of consulting and management experience with international CPA firms and private companies. He has been active in acquisition, structure and restructure planning for multi-state companies ranging from publishing to retail sales to services businesses.

Missy Griffith

Missy Griffith, store manager, has worked in self-storage for the last twenty-five years. Prior to joining High Country, she was the manager/owner of a California regional self-storage facility. Missy resides in Montezuma County and enjoys RV travel, ATV adventures and many of the other outdoor activities our County has to offer.

Brent D. Leslie

Brent D. Leslie, facility manager, has worked various areas of the self-storage industry for more than nine years. An Arizona State University graduate, he is also a certified welder. His experience ranges from route delivery to building and grounds management.

Christina Pigeon, assistant store manager, has worked in self-storage for over two years. She is experienced in other customer service industries. Christina’s interest and skill as an artist adds a distinct flair to the High Country Team.
